Just saw Chaz Bono's first interview as a man. He is a transgender activist now. Of course we all have heard his story of becoming a male named Chaz from the famous daughter of Sonny & Cher known as Chastity. We have all wondered why she would do something so drastic but he explains that she was not a lesbian but rather transgender? There is a fine line of confusion there but I think that Chaz has been doing a good job in opening up about this fascinating subject. Here is a link to an interview he did on ABC:http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/chaz-bono-gender-reassignment-best-decision-made/story?id=9124302.

Betty White??
I have been hearing about Betty White continuously over the past few weeks. I think that since she received the Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award in January of 2010, she has become even more popular that she currently was. I do think that she is naturally funny. I remember a few episodes of Mary Tyler Moore and The Golden Girls, and she is obviously a master at comedy - sometimes all you can really do is laugh. Makes me wonder if it was actually Betty White or the talented writers of these shows?
After such a fascinating career spanning over 65 years, filled with accolades, praise and awards, it seems so odd that now at 88 years old, Betty White will be hosting Saturday Night Live on May 8th 2010. It's the perfect format to attract viewers. A platform like SNL showcasing the humor of a legendary old lady, can't wait!
Here is what SNL has to say:http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/news/2010/03/11/legendary-emmy-winner-betty-white-hosts-saturday-night-live-on-may-8/

"Imma Be" by The Black Eyed Peas
So here we have the fourth single and third Billboard number one from the Black Eyed Peas. At first, I didn't like this track because I found it somewhat too dark and too "alternative" in comparison to the rest of the album the E.N.D. and to songs such as Meet Me Halfway and of course the anthem I Gotta Feeling.
Needless to say, I don't understand the theme behind this track, but I also didn't understand Boom Boom Pow, or My Humps for that matter - regardless, I am guilty of enjoying and singing to these tracks anyway.
I will admit that the Peas have this knack or gift of producing material that simply entertains us through half-baked lyrics and wicked beats. It's so awful at times that it becomes so DELICIOUS when we need a break and want to get away!
Considering that The E.N.D. is the Peas' 5th studio album which produced all 3 of their number one hits in 12 years, I say that they are doing something right and will ride this wave for a very long time!
